In an effort to get the home theater PC up and running I was looking for a remote control receiver that can also bring the PC up from the S3 sleep mode. Well, there is nothing like that on the market, so I am making my own. A bit of embedded development, a dab of electrical engineering and it should fly. The platform of choice is ATMEL, the tools are an AVR Dragon and a soldering iron. The LEDs are already blinking!
