Today on the NYC news: the first tenant of the Freedom Tower is a Chinese corporation, leasing 5 stores, to build a…wait for it…a cultural center and a chamber of commerce, aptly named “The China Center”. Meanwhile the “freedom tower” is being promptly and quietly renamed to the “1 world trade center”, a less ambitious, less “proud” sounding name. Proves the point that money rule the world. I, for one, welcome our yellow skinned overlords. Besides, the our-pride-is-for-sale tower is just a bunch of rebars sticking from the ground thus far.
